1. Is StarMaid a maid agent?
No, we are not a maid agency; therefore, all our quotations are net amount, there is No Agency fees, No Registration fees, No GST, No other hidden charges, No limit on ironing time.

2. So who is StarMaid?
We are a Professional housekeeper, we train and provide professional maids for housekeeping services, at the same time, we also provide reasonably priced value added services such as office cleaning, house painting, general renovation works, laundry services, air-condition maintenance and services, party maids and baby sitting.

3. Are your maids reliable?
Positive! They are all professionally trained Singaporeans and all are tested on personality, trustworthiness and proficiency before we deploy them to field work.

4. What if I want a replacement?
You have unlimited replacement without any additional charges, but we foresee you need not do so because we only provide proficient and reliable maids to customers only when they have passed through our in-house training program.

5. What are the advantages of engaging your services?
Yes!! There are many advantages:

6. Do I have to be at home while your maid is performing the house cleaning chores?
Not necessary. In fact, most of our customers prefer not to be at home while servicing, because they trusted our responsibility, but there is no harm that you can always chose to be at home for a few occasion and make yourself acquainted with our maid.

7. Is there a service agreement?
Yes. Just for a formality, you only require to sign up for a minimum two months service agreement as we have confidence in our services.

8. Can I prioritize my cleaning requirement?
All our monthly cleaning packages allow customers to customize their cleaning priority in accordance to their life style.

9. What will be the available time for cleaning services?
Our morning service starts at 8am or 9am, afternoon service starts at 1pm or 2pm. Monday to Saturday.

10. So how do I start?
It’s very simple. Just pick up any of our cleaning services that suit your life style and we will deploy our maid to your house and leave you a spick and span home while you return.

12. Are there insurance coverage for theft and breakage?
Firstly, for the event of theft, all starmaid's housekeepers have gone through a series of training including personality test on trustworthiness and reliability before they are deploy to work. However, should theft does happen, we shall cooperate fully with owners and an appropriate police report will be made. StarMaid is determined to leave no stones un-turned..

Secondly, for breakage, there is insurance coverage for damages and breakages that are due to our maid's negligence. Wear and tear items not included. Authenticated cases will be subjected to a maximum liability of S$100.00 per claim. Authenticated cases will be subjected to a maximum liability of S$100.00 per claim

13. Can I leave my house key with your company?
Certainly! In fact, many of our clients have entrusted us with their house keys and leave the entire house cleaning chores to our maid.

14. How is the procedure of handling out our house key?
We have several in-house procedures that will make your house key 100% safe with us. Please consult our operation department for further details.

15. What are the differences within part time freelance cleaner/foreign maid sharing and your professional housekeepers?
There are many un-organized part time freelance cleaners and foreign maids sharing scheme available in the market, they are of vast differences comparing to us, and you are welcome to evaluate them as follows:
